Sri Lankan Ayurvedic Medicine.

Today, many people are moving away from traditional medicine to Western medicine. But in our medicine, diseases are completely eliminated, and in Western medicine, there are side effects from the medicine that is taken to cure the disease. Therefore, even though many people from all over the world still love it, its use is minimal.

In Sri Lanka Ayurveda medicine is based on the country's centuries old treasure trove of indigenous knowledge base, natural environment and cultural repertory. With its ancient history, traditional Ayurveda medicine heritage preserved over 3000 years. 



Traditional medicine is often contrasted with scientific medicine. In some Asian and African countries, up to 80% of the population relies on traditional medicine for their primary health care needs. When adopted outside its traditional culture, traditional medicine is often considered a form of alternative medicine.

Paspangu can be identified as a Hela medicine used in daily life and it can be taken by the body to reduce our join pain and when we have a fever. This gives energy to the body.

The paspanguwa formulation consists of five ingredients namely Ginger Pathpadagam , Katuwalbatu , Veniwalgata and Coriander.
